Food is the best I have had. It is different from what you are used to. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but use the time to relax - it's worth it.

This spot constantly delivers. They have fantastic food for fair prices, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.

It's like ordering Mexican food from a concession stand. The prices are absurd for the quality and quantity. I'm surprised by all the good reviews.

Food is not bad. Overpriced for the quality and zero hospitality. They leave an inexperienced waiter in charge, who although polite, can’t deal with the business. If the food were half the price, I could deal but when I drop $50+ for dinner, I expect a moderate level of service. Will definitely not be back.

HIdden gem in East Rutherford. This place doesn't even have a sign outside, but you'll always catch the owner mingling with patrons. The food is incredible and authentic along with the margaritas.

i was not impressed by their tacos one bit! it wasn't very flavorful and the staff aren't welcoming and nice at all! i went up to the counter for what i thought was my food and got yelled at. never again its not worth it!

Best Mexican food ever. Relaxing environment and very tidy place. Very good service, they take their time to prepare the food. This lady is the best, she is so welcoming and friendly. I am in love with this place 💝

You can tell it's all homemade cooking. It's pretty good. They are not big for drinks, so don't expect a tasty margarita, but the food was good!!

Great sauces and guac and I love that they don't bulk up the entree plates w rice n beans. Decent margaritas, too. But service was mediocre and that's important to me. Our waiter was nice but it was clear he wasn't into it...for example, everything he brought to us was placed on the end of the table closest to him, not at a person's place setting. Food, menus, water, etc just laid down in a pile at one end of the table...sort of like he was inviting us to join him in doing his job! Cactus filling in enchiladas was very tasty. Cheese filling seemed liked processed cheese, which was disappointing. Chips were good not great.

Stay away. Go to one of the Italian places instead they are probably better. 90% chance the "salsa" was just marinara. Pork tacos had no flavor, pork tacos are easy just simmer the pork all day and you will have great pork, this might have been microwaved. The guac was avacado and chopped tomatoes, nothing else, no lime no salt no cilantro. Honestly, store bought salsa, guac and refried beans would have been better. Anyone that says the food is good or authentic has never had Mexican food. I cry that this the Mexican food that is offered to the nice people of Rutherford. Please go some place else or don't get Mexican because this is a crime against the gods of meat cheese and tortillas.

Fiesta Hut is a great place for Mexican food. Everything we had was lovely. I have to say, though, that if you go there, have lots of time. Their food is good, but the service, at least what we experienced, was slow.

Food wasn't terrible but the service was atrocious and the food took about an hr to make after taking 30 min waiting for a seat. How are they so busy!?

If you're looking for basic Tex Mex like you'd get in the south, this place is for you! Super predictable and greasy, Fiesta Hut is American diner quality northern Mexican food at its finest. I'm pretty sure they use shredded American cheese in their tacos--and I'm not even complaining.

Not the best atmosphere or service, but when you finally get ur food you forget about everything else, it's that good!

I have been a big fan for 20+ years and order the same items each time. I start off with the small salad (awesome + big enough for two), then the cheese crisps and the enchilada plate with rice and beans! They make the best enchiladas because the tortillas are made by hand each day. I especially like the cheese enchiladas with the red sauce (the green sauce is also very good but very hot). Tip: go early or come later to shorten the meal time. The service is friendly but the staff is small so be patient.

The best Mexican food you can have in the county. Fiesta Hut is an institution. Fresh hot chips and salsa as soon as you sit down you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm partial to the enchiladas and burritos. Also the queso dip is great. The service has been occasionally slow but the food is always worth the wait.

Fresh, authentic, bold flavored and spicy Mexican food is framed by the best margarita's anyone can produce. Family owned and run, you'll feel like a regular in no time.

Best authentic cooked from scratch mexican food in the area. The cheese is seriously to die for. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. oh and YES there is a wait for your food...because they're actually COOKING IT.

This place is a DUMP. I was so dissapointed. Wanted a night out with 2 of my friends and we were craving Mexican food. The chips and salsa first came out and the salsa was disgusting. We ordered a guacamole app and it came out on this tiny tiny plate over a bed of shredded lettuce. The quesadillas were 2 small tortillas that I could have EASILY made better at home.. not to mention, my margarita came out with a dead bug floating around the top of the drink. There was NO ONE in the place at 8 pm on a Saturday night. Needless to say, I will never go back and I will NEVER recommend this place to friends.

Staff is friendly. Food is awesome. Dinah the owner greets me with a friendly smile and warm welcome hello all the time.

Authentic Mexican food. Been going for about 40 years. Started at their location on route 4 and found their sister location after Paramus restaurant closed.Best Margarettas, made with fresh squeezed lime. If they don't have limes for instance they will not make the drink. The owner is passionate about her food and she has high standards.

Thank you Fiesta Hut for helping set up a special moment!! Story time: I have some family friends that have been coming to this location and the old location for 30+ years. Three generations worth. They would eventually move to Georgia and recently do to some unfortunate luck experienced some health issues. As they are recovering their one request was food from Fiesta Hut just like old times. Fiesta Hut’s owner was gracious and kind enough to help facilitate this happening. The family were so incredibly appreciative and for that moment it was just like old times. Thank you so much Fiesta Hut!

Fiesta Hut is a local favorite and frankly it deserves more success than it has. They offer simple but delicious Mexican fare which I'd take over any fusion/gourmet taco craze that's going on. Once upon a time, service was slow, but there are a few new staff members that really help. If you've been there before, no matter what your experience was, you can tell it's a true labor of love.

Excellent food n love the margaritas!

It's easy to miss Fiesta Hut because there isn't a big sign outside. Don't be put off by how it looks inside--the food is incredible. Word of advice, don't start digging into the salsa until after you get your drinks. There's one person serving, so it may take few minutes for the drinks to come out. Your mouth will be on FIRE. So delicious, though. There's no kid's menu, but they'll accommodate you if you ask for a single item instead of the usual 3 that come in an order. My super picky toddler ate an entire taco. Everything is amazing. I highly recommend getting one of the combos so you can try three different things. I've been going to Fiesta Hut for years, and I will continue to do so.

Not very authentic at all.

Nothing about this place is authentic. The "salsa" is pizza sauce, complete with oregano. The enchilada tasted like a ravioli, and the menu literally explained that it is proper to eat tacos with your hands. After I left I wasn't sure if I had just eaten Mexican or Italian. I'm curious if the cooks have ever eaten Mexican food before, because they sure don't know how to cook it. Other than the terrible food, the space itself is really cute and the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Food here is amazing and fresh! It's family owned and operated! Yes the service tends to be slow, but imagine your Mom serving food in her own house and trust me it won't bother you. Dinah is incredibly friendly and sweet.

Veg friendly South American Spanish fare. great choice. very tasty preparations. Only drawback is the lack of signage, one could easily miss it if you've never been here before.

Its okay. Prepare to wait, they only have 3 workers, so whem crowded, everything is a wait. Instead, Enjoy their margaritas - very good. For those of us used to Qdoba & Chipotle, the burritos will seem small & a bit different. But authentically spanish, you get 3, choices of fillings, and everything is priced to move. They aim to please, so if you go to relax & can be patient, it probably will be worth it.

Long reputation of family run authentic Mexican. Homemade food that is cooked while you wait so if you want quick food go to the microwaved - chain food -fake Mexican places that are for Taco Bell graduates. Here you can have Great margaritas to sip with your chips and salsa while they cook your dinner
